Welcome to the Sycamore Satin Association of Indiana. The Sycamore Satin Association of Indiana is established as the State of Indiana's Satin and Mini Satin Specialty Club. Our organizations was established to promote the breeding and showing of the Satin and Mini Satin Rabbit Breeds.
These two breeds are perfectly matched because of their satin fur. Between both breeds, you can enjoy the satin fur on either a 4 or 6 class rabbit.
In 1946, The American Satins Rabbit Breeders Association was established recognizing two varieties. Today there are 11 recognized satin varieties.
In 2005, the Mini Satin breed was recognized by the passing of the white variety. Today there are 11 recognized mini satin varieties.
In March 1979, the Sycamore Satin Association of Indiana was established and is the third oldest state Satin Club in America.
